Kristin Deese Bio
Kristin Deese is the founder of Catalyst Consulting and the Mind Your Business Academy. Kristin has a passion for helping people achieve their dreams. Can’t is not a part of her vocabulary, and instead she chooses to focus on how. With a knack for creating structure out of chaos, identifying roadblocks and how to get around them, dreamers and creative spirits are her favorite clients to work with.
Kristin narrowly avoided higher education, and instead jumped into the workforce as soon as possible. Her leadership journey started in 2003 and has spanned multiple industries, including hospitality, big box retail and client management/fulfilment. She has a strong Operations background, and while she has dabbled in Sales Leadership, Ops is her wheelhouse. She is a generalist, and knows enough to be dangerous in nearly every aspect of business management.
She believes strongly that we all have innate strengths and weaknesses, and when we collaborate with others who build us up where we are not our strongest, we are able to achieve things we haven’t even dreamed of yet.
In her free time, she loves to hone her sarcasm and creative use of swear words in everyday life. She has a dog (Dobby) and a cat (Weasley) and is a proud member of the Slytherin house. When the weather allows, she enjoys being mediocre at golf, decent at tennis, and rewards herself with wine and sushi as often as possible.
