Why is a business easier and harder than you think to start?

Our podcast guest today, Melitta Campbell, covers this great topic.  Our fears and doubts are the main reason why starting a business can be hard.  It holds people back.  We say things like, I don’t have enough time, I don’t have the right tools, I don’t have enough money or I don’t have the resources.  But if you get clarity, have a positive mindset and work on self-development, most of these fears will go away if you just take action.  Melitta believes if you have Clarity, Confidence, Communicate and have Consistency it becomes so much easier to figure out how to take that first positive action.  Once you start, your business will evolve, and your role is to control the process of evolution! It’s as simple as that!

Melitta Campbell Bio

Melitta Campbell is a business mentor who is passionate about helping women start a business they love on their own terms.

Melitta helps women clearly define, communicate and market their new business with purpose and passion; so they can stand out, win more clients and confidently use their talents to make a positive difference in the world.

…and all without the doubt and overwhelm often associated with entrepreneurship!

Her expertise comes from 25+ years experience working in communication, marketing and leadership for a variety of businesses, from some of the world’s largest organisations (including Nestlé and the UN), to its newest solopreneurs.

Having enjoyed being her own boss for more than a decade, she understands the joys as well as the challenges of entrepreneurship – that’s why her coaching packages focus on the inner-game of success as much as the practicalities of starting and running a thriving business.

Melitta also holds several volunteer positions within the Geneva Communicators Network, Swiss Riviera Toastmasters (president), The Swiss Entrepreneurs Club (founder) and TEDxLausanne.

Originally from Wales in the UK, Melitta now lives in a Swiss chalet surrounded by nature and overlooking Lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps with her husband and two daughters.
