Shwetal Shah:  A Tech Millennial Entrepreneur, was raised and educated in Mumbai, moving to the UK for the remainder of her education, graduating with a Masters of Science in International Marketing at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland.  In this podcast, Shwetal shares her entrepreneurial journey as part of the “Erase All Kittens” gaming team, designed to help girls between the ages of 8 and 13 to code.

Shwetal was chosen as one of 13 leaders for the Commonwealth Youth Forum that met recently in London, UK.  She also talks about meeting Prince Harry who has just been appointed by the Queen as Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.  Harry told the opening of a Commonwealth forum discussing youth issues.  “I know that serving as ambassador to young people I’m going have to try to keep up with you all … my job will be to listen to you, my duty will be to ensure that your ideas, concerns, thoughts, and hopes are heard.”

Shwetal Shah:  A Tech Millennial with a strong focus on client-facing roles at previous organizations in the Telecoms, Hospitality, Retail and Financial Services Industry and a few fortune 500 companies, she developed a core understanding of the business nuances in different sectors and undertook product development specific market research in the open source software tools community.

She now works as the Head of Outreach at Erase All Kittens, an award-winning startup company creating a game that inspires girls to code whilst teaching them real-world languages. Her responsibilities include creating partnerships with global organisations and finding opportunities within the public sector and Government departments to support E.A.K. in empowering more girls with digital skills.
