Learn The Secrets Of Networking For Business

Networking for business can be intimidating for some people.  You may be comfortable in your immediate network of family, friends or business colleagues, but venturing into a huge room with strangers may be extremely uncomfortable.

Our podcast guest is business expert, Darcy Roberts, of Spiral By Design Consulting.  Darcy guides us through, “what is networking”, “how to overcome your fears about networking” and how to “network effectively”.

Darcy also talks about networking in person versus online networking through social media platforms such as facebook and LinkedIn.  In this podcast, Darcy references the ability in LinkedIn to write “notes” about people as a reminder of personal info about your contacts.  Unfortunately, this feature has been discontinued.  Here is a link to the replacement suggested by LinkedIn.
