Anne Gannon Bio
Anne Gannon is the Principal at The Largo Group. The Largo Group offers innovative accounting and bookkeeping solutions to businesses and individuals. In 2016 The Largo Group’s revenue has grown 75% year-over-year for the last 5 years. The Largo Group has over 500+ customers from Alaska to Maine and a team size of 8.
Anne is often tapped by press as an expert in PPP loans for business.
The Largo Group is perfect for those looking for specialized monthly bookkeeping, tax services, and business consulting focused on improving efficiencies and the bottom line. The uniqueness of our firm is that Anne is the sole owner as most accounting firms are partnerships. We are set up as a corporate model. If we win, the team wins.
Anne Gannon is a Certified Public Accountant who specializes in providing a monthly accounting and tax service that works for the business owner, not just the accountant. What makes Anne unique is that she is anything but your typical accountant. Afterall, she spent her early years chasing the dream of professional golf. In 2013 Anne was ranked 11th nationally in the Titleist US Women’s Amateur rankings and was the reigning Women’s Eastern Amateur Champion. In 2004 Anne turned pro, but quickly realized as she drove around the country that summer listening to CNBC and reading the Wall Street Journal that her true love was economics and business.
Not the golf course. Anne returned to school in 2004 to pursue her Masters’s in Accounting, and in 2007 was a licensed CPA working for one of the largest regional public accounting firms in Boston. The time spent traveling the country playing golf had an impact, and Anne quickly realized that all of the entrepreneurs and members of the hospitality industry she had met along the way were being underserved by their accountants! In 2012 Anne left the large public accounting firm to build her own practice, and in 2016 Anne founded The Largo Group, a firm specializing in over-delivering for the entrepreneur and business owner.
Since 2016 The Largo Group has grown to provide accounting assistance to businesses and individuals nationally. Currently The Largo Group services over 150 multi-unit restaurants nationally, and has experienced over 50% growth annually since their inception in 2016.
Anne believes this unprecedented growth is due to their belief in providing a team of experts to their clients at an affordable and flat-fee rate so that their clients have the peace of mind of knowing the Largo Group is only a phone call away.
In March 2020, in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic, Anne pivoted The Largo Group to provide boots on the ground for the hospitality industry that was in a free fall. Anne and the other members of the Largo Group team provided free offerings to major corporations as well as individuals nationally, which included weekly check-in sessions to provide updates on everything from cash flow to government assistance. Anne has remained committed to providing free education and assistance to those in need believing that for many business owners, their business is their largest financial asset. And something that will still have value in 2021. Her belief is that now is the time to write your comeback strategy.
Since March 2020, The Largo Group has offered over 25 free 2-4 week educational courses, free to all business owners, which have been attended by over 1500 individuals nationally. Anne’s golf background has given her a passion for over-delivering for the hospitality industry, and she believes that now more than ever all business owners must be in constant communication with their accountants so that they can pivot and create a comeback strategy in 2021 and beyond. In addition to her passion for accounting, Anne enjoys spending time with her husband Steve and two sons James & Fraser, and exploring the outdoors as much as possible.
